For the tests were in fact available to the two best-performing petrol and diesel versions, united by displacement 2.0, the power of 231 hp, the TwinPower Turbo technology and the availability of all-wheel drive only. Both have met the high expectations, revealing bright, stable and balanced in all driving situations, with a note on the particular skills of xDrive 25i petrol to emulate the elasticity, and with it the typical gentle drive, the “sister” turbodiesel xDrive 25d. The two top of the line alongside the 20th 192 hp at 2 or 4 wheel drive, xDrive 20d to 18d sDrive 190 hp and 150 hp. By the end of the unit 4-cylinder models will add an entry sDrive 18i and 16d equipped with 3-cylinder 1.5 liter 136 and 116 hp respectively.
 Among the new technology, enter the family X1 the head-up display and the Driving Assistant Plus that implements security by integrating control Cruise Control with Stop & amp; Go, the alarm for changing lanes unintentionally, the assistant driving in the column, the alarm for pedestrians and automatic braking at speeds “town”.
The new X1 is offered in the basic levels, Advantage, Sport Line and M Sport xLINE with a price range 32,950 and 48,300 Euros.
