After launching a “teaser” that presaged the arrival of a new set of speakers, Bowers & amp; Wilkins has unveiled the new range 800 Diamond D3 . Without using too many claims, the historic manufacturer of audio components added specifications of all models on its website. The technological innovations are four: starting from the membrane Continuum , which provides improved performance in the midrange, blocking every phenomenon of break-up that may adversely affect this portion of the audio spectrum.
Even the basic speaker has been redesigned : a system of wheels and retractable points, operated with a simple gear allows you to move easily the speakers and ensure them a stable support. The diamond tweeter is housed in aluminum container filled , forming a structure acoustically inert, able to provide a rigid support to allow the transducer to reproduce a more detailed treble. Also new is the membrane Aerofoil of variable thickness, able to provide greater stiffness where it is needed, to ensure a perfect piston movement and provide powerful bass and impressive. Rounds off the structure speaker, called Matrix : to compose it are various layers of wood and metal elements, to ensure maximum rigidity.

802 D3
The 802 D3 are three-way floorstanding speakers with a diamond tweeter 25mm, FST midrange diaphragm Continuum 150 mm and two woofers with membrane Aerofoil 200mm. The frequency response is between 17Hz and 28kHz, with a sensitivity of 90dB and a nominal set at 8 ohms. The measures are 1250 x 390 x 583 mm, with a weight of 94.5 kg.
The finishes available are three: Gloss Black, Satin White and Rosenut.
803 D3
The 803 D3 are floorstanding speakers Three-way , with a diamond tweeter 25mm, FST midrange diaphragm Continuum 130 mm and two woofers with membrane Aerofoil 180mm. The frequency response is between 19Hz and 28kHz, with a sensitivity of 90dB and a nominal set at 8 ohms. The measures are 1160 x 334 x 498 mm, with a weight of 65.5 kg.

804 D3
The 804 D3 are floorstanding speakers Three-way , with a diamond tweeter 25mm, FST midrange diaphragm Continuum 130 mm and two woofers with membrane Aerofoil 165mm. The frequency response is between 24Hz and 28kHz, with a sensitivity of 89dB and a nominal set at 8 ohms. The measures are 1019 x 238 x 345 mm, with a weight of 33 kg.

805 D3
The 805 D3 are two bookshelf speakers streets , with a 25mm diamond tweeter and a midrange with FST membrane Continuum 165 mm. The frequency response is between 34Hz and 28kHz, with a sensitivity of 88dB and a nominal set at 8 ohms. The measurements are 424 x 238 x 345 mm, with a weight of 12.6 kg.

HTM1 D3
HTM1 D3 is a center channel Three-way , with a diamond tweeter 25mm, FST midrange diaphragm Continuum 150 mm and two woofers with membrane Aerofoil 200mm. The frequency response is between 28Hz and 28kHz, with a sensitivity of 91dB and a nominal set at 8 ohms. The measurements are 330 x 850 x 342 mm, with a weight of 30.4 kg.

HTM2 D3
HTM2 D3 is a center channel Three-way , with a diamond tweeter 25mm, FST midrange diaphragm Continuum 130 mm and two woofers with membrane Aerofoil 165mm. The frequency response is between 45Hz and 28kHz, with a sensitivity of 90dB and a nominal set at 8 ohms. The measurements are 302 x 720 x 326 mm.

DB1
DB1 subwoofer is accompanying the 800 Series Diamond . YES is an active model in sealed box amplified, with symmetrical operation. Sound is spread through two woofers 300 mm long stroke diaphragm Rohacell . The frequency response is between 17 and 145Hz, with an emission equal to 1000W. The measures are 490 x 460 x 410 mm, with a weight of 44 kg. The available finishes are gloss black, Rosenut and Rosewood.
