Business fleets – Our interview with Giuseppe Marchiori (Porsche) – Quattroruote

Despite the economic unfavorable economic outlook and the permanence of a system of taxation absurdly penalizing (superbollo in the head), the Porsche ended 2015 in Italy with a sales increase of 21.8%, which resulted in 5,002 registered units and a market share of 0.3% of the overall market. This result was significantly helped the SUV of the Stuttgart brand: were, in fact, registered 2,499 and 1,269 Cayenne Macan. Here is our interview with Giuseppe Marchiori, responsible for corporate sales and used Porsche Italy.

What news particularly interesting for business travelers planning to launch in 2016?

Porsche is a successful manufacturer of sports cars and this directs and also strongly influence corporate sales. The combination of performance and use in everyday life is one of the pillars of our brand and is 911, with about 18%, an important part of our corporate sales. Therefore, the new 911, available in all versions later this year, will be a novelty many attractive for our business customers.

In your range are no specific arrangements for laclientela business? Do you plan to launch new projects in 2016?

Even those who use the Porsche in the business want the best when configure and customize the car at the time of purchase. This is why we travel the road to a gradual increase in the perceived value of using a Porsche. One example is the standard equipment of the infotainment and navigation devices on many versions which business customers are concerned, including those most performing of all these Panamera and the new 911.

Do you specific proposals for the customer “small”, defined as SMEs, artisans, professionals, holders of a VAT number?

Some of these customers are the consolidated figures of the sportier models. In general, with outstanding addition to our range we offer dedicated solutions that optimize and make more efficient the car’s management in the enterprise as a maintenance package and, above all, the long-term rental solution Porsche Renting all our centers can offer.

Do you think the story that has propelled diesel engines will affect the engine choices on the part of business customers?

We think that this story will not affect in any way on our customers’ choices.

how do you treat your customers towards the most environmentally friendly mobility proposals? And what types of cars or green mobility solutions collect more interest bi-fuel, electric, car sharing, car pooling or something?

Our customers choose Porsche because it is distinguished by high performance and the technological sophistication of the cars built, but also for the sustainable approach to product development, thanks to which is the first car manufacturer to offer three plug-in hybrid models.

what policy initiatives do you think are needed to support the car industry in Italy?

We support all political initiatives that aim to stimulate investment by businesses, to increase the use of ‘ car business purposes and to modernize the fleet, with particular reference to safety and fuel consumption compared to the benefits.
