Engineers, scientists and pilots: the talents Popular – BBC

The estimated time for reading this post is four minutes i.

Iolanda Barera

It would seem a contradiction. The crisis, heavy, lives with The War for Talent , which is on, is indeed becoming an increasingly global phenomenon.

For example European, Sir James Dyson, the ‘inventor of the bagless vacuum cleaner is building a new technology campus, with four buildings for research and development (surrounded by trees to protect them from prying eyes) in Malmesbury in Wiltshire, where plans to insert 3,000 young engineers and scientists 2020.

It has already begun on the site of the company stands the word “ Rivolutionaires wanted ” (We are looking for revolutionaries) . It certainly does not refer only to native: Dyson has complained repeatedly that in British soil there are not enough. Similar situation for the manufacturing giant JCB that, despite the unfavorable period, is setting up two plants in the UK and other operations that will create 2,500 jobs by 2018.

But companies and sectors that attract human resources (skilled) from around the globe are “popping” even in the east of the world. And it is an opportunity (certainly not easy to grasp, for many reasons) for those in possession of the right skills.

For example, if in the skies over Italy and beyond, there is a strong unemployment, Asia and the Middle East suffer from a worrying shortage of pilots . So much so that the companies of the place they are already taking of American, Australian and European (remember the 36 Italians pinched off workers this winter to work “in the skies of the East”?). It is not a matter momentary: Boeing estimates that it will take 260 thousand over the next 20 years.

But there are also news from one of the largest exporters of brains technology in decades. The largest Indian start-up of e-commerce for some time are beating the Silicon Valley looking for talents : Americans assume, in fact. Saritha Rai, a journalist expert in India and the new economy in late May wrote of “Forbes” that Rohit Bansal, co-founder of Snapdeal, was about to land in the Valley to make a hundred talks super tech savvy. For selected destinations are Bangalore and New Delhi.

In China, in the industry, Jack Ma, the founder of the giant Alibaba, in recent years has opened in interns from around the world . The selection is quite challenging.

The said recently on “Business Insider” also a young party from Berkeley, California, a few years ago, a summer internship (as Global business operations intern) to Hangzhou, in the headquarters of Alibaba.

How would you describe the experience? Surreal interesting and very intense, within a diverse team: students, teachers, chemists, engineers, entrepreneurs and not just from 18 to 31years. Not to mention expenses. But specific working hours: from 9 am to 8 pm.
