EICMA, MT-10 and XSR900. Yamaha aims high – La Gazzetta dello Sport

Yamaha passes to the next level. We are not in a video game, but the presentation of the 2016 range of the House of Iwata. It is “Next level” is the slogan for the Japanese introduce the range of motion on sale next year. To introduce the range of the number 1 Yamaha, Hiroyuki Yanagi, who confirmed the willingness of the House to be present on all markets, from the bike pedal assistance to all four wheels.

motobot – But the future of Yamaha also goes by the pilot of the future, called Motobot. It is a humanoid designed to drive a R1 as a professional driver, without making mistakes. A project that puts chills, for the power of Yamaha in technology as well as motorsport.

TWO STEPS IN THE FUTURE – The second concept proposed by Yamaha connects us directly with when seen at the Tokyo Motor Show, which is the three-wheeled MWT9 the union between sporty driving a motorcycle (has the engine of the MT-09) and the comfort of three-wheeled Tricity. On the same false line the ROV, which is a four-wheel suitable for extreme driving in the desert, and the cars the Motiv-A and the Sports laughs concept.

NEW – But Yamaha is not content to surprise with the concept . Aims to make the leap, move to the next level. And it does so with a series of models like the WR450F, perfect machine for cross and enduro, building on its engine head upside. Or, to move to the road, as the MT-03, a beautiful naked (in fact, a R3 without hulls) with 321 cc twin-cylinder engine. And especially with the MT-10, a monster road livery gray framed by fluorescent yellow rims. A motorcycle with four cylinders and whose power has not yet been revealed which is already icon: a naked versatile that it has many components in common with the R1 (above all, the engine) which will arrive on the market next spring. Between past and present (to mark the 60th anniversary of Yamaha) finally places the XSR900, flat track version of the MT-09 is produced in collaboration with Roland Sands, resplendent in its livery giallonera, the same with which Kenny Roberts won among 70 and 80, driven by the three-cylinder engine of 115 horses of the MT-09.

SCOOTER – At EICMA 2015 Re maxi scooters will be accompanied by new deluxe TMax Lux Max and the new version of Tmax Max Iron more exclusive and distinctive.
