Research and innovation in Cosmofarma Exhibition 2015

“The future is now.” This is the slogan of the 2015′s “Cosmofarma Exhibition”, the event BolognaFiere Europe’s leading products and services related to the world of pharmacy, returns to Bologna 17 to 19 April 2015, under the patronage of Federfarma and with the support of the Group of Cosmetic Chemist Cosmetics in Italy.
The 19th edition focuses on research and technological innovation. Will indeed be innovative projects in the world of the pharmacy to welcome visitors: the Service Centre, the main area at the entrance of the event, will be dedicated to the 21 startups selected in collaboration with WellCare, the Marketing agency specializing in Health and beauty care.
In the same area will be visible projects selected for the Award for Innovation and Research, for exhibitors to Cosmofarma that stood out for creative and innovative capacity. The area, called “Start Up Cosmofarma Village”, is designed as a technological village where, for three days, you can experience the latest “user-friendly”, designed thinking of a digital future in pharmacy, through dynamic projects and creative.
The projects present a Cosmofarma were developed by young researchers and entrepreneurs from leading accelerators, as UniCredit Start Lab and Filarete Foundation, and by prestigious Italian university centers: AlmaCube from Bologna to I3P Turin Polytechnic from Area Science Park of Trieste to MICC of Florence.
Each startup is a beautiful story of expertise and creativity made in Italy, including: pharmacist designing an app to prevent the risk of drug interactions, the young neurologist, became emiparetico following a incident, which he patented an innovative prosthesis to walk normally, the veteran of Silicon Valley that governs algorithms marketing geo-localized, young bio-engineers who founded the Google health certificate.
Cosmofarma inaugurates a new prestigious award, which was created with the aim to enhance the value of research and promote a new sensitivity in public opinion towards science and technology. Will therefore be awarded to the creative abilities of the exhibiting companies, with particular attention to initiatives that have brought a contribution to the development of pharmacy and the cultural and professional growth of the pharmacist.
They participate in the Award companies that have made products and initiatives in the sectors related to the 4 Focus of the event: self-medication, dermocosmetics, power, technology / furnishings, technology / systems. A jury of leading figures within the various categories, will award the prizes Friday, April 17 during a gala evening. All projects will be shown at Cosmofarma Start Up Village, to the service center.
Last year were 27,566 visitors to the event, with an increase in attendance from Italy and 13% of those from foreign countries by 22%. 356 exhibitors from more than 600 brands of the leading manufacturers and distributors, Italian and international, drugs, cosmetics, dietary supplements and medical devices. For the year 2015 the focus is on growth markets: Russia, Scandinavia, the Balkans, Spain, UK, Poland, Bulgaria and Egypt.
