Back in Lagnasco “Fruttinfiore”, the event that for three days wants to celebrate the best local fruit production, for fruit: the healthy, good … and in bloom!
The event is a national fair that goes far beyond the simple feast. To achieve this ambitious goal, the organizers have given life to uncork, the Exhibition of Technologies Applied all’Ortofrutticoltura: domestic and foreign companies will offer the best of technological equipment in the field of fruit and there will be meetings and conferences for insights.
The goal is to strengthen the link between the various segments of the supply chain, through the meeting of the leading representatives of the industry, not to mention the final consumer. The appointment for the experts (and beyond) is therefore in the forecourt of the registered dell’Asprofrut, starting at 14.00 on Friday 10th April. The inauguration of the XIII edition is scheduled Friday, April 10 at 17:00 right in Piazzale Asprofrut.
“Fruttinfiore” accompany visitors in a full immersion in the world of fruit doing discover and enhance the work of an entire area. An area rich in culture, but also of culture, of people with ambition, will, stubbornness, that thanks to the continuous innovation has transformed the ancient traditions in modern fruit. As per tradition, the 2015 edition has a full calendar of events.
The stars will be, as always, the Exhibition of Technologies Applied all’Ortofrutticoltura, markets full of delicacies, laboratories and many educational activities for the little ones. Not only art and conferences, stalls full of curiosity, fireworks, guests and, for all fans of fitwalking, the seventh edition of the “Walk through the orchards in bloom.” Also confirmed Fruttintavola, a gastronomic journey in collaboration with the trade associations, to celebrate the fruits at the table, between traditional and innovative recipes tasty.
Lagnasco, the capital of Piedmont fruit, welcomes a perfect combination to enhance the product in all respects: economic, cultural and territorial. Will herald then three days of intense meetings between farmers and industrialists. An opportunity to update and comparison to ensure the development of agribusiness.
For 2015, the organizers intend to propose Fruttinfiore meetings between different realities but will close for enhancement. In Piazza Umberto I, the institutional representatives (Assortofrutta, Croesus, Onafrut, Coldiretti, Confartigianato, Confagricoltura, Confcooperative) and especially the consortiums will present their products: Consortium for the protection and enhancement of the Red Apple Cuneo PGI Consortium and enhancement of Castagna Cuneo PGI Consortium Pera Madernassa Guarene and Apricot Magliano Alfieri, Carrot San Rocco Castagnaretta, Cuneo Ham Consortium, Consortium Apple Grey Torriana, Consortium Piedmont Hazelnut IGP, Piemonte Asprocor, Consortium of Pepper Carmagnola , strawberry Peveragno, Cuneo Po Park, School of Herbal Medicine, School of Agriculture Verzuolo, Assopiemonte, Aspromiele, Agri Valley Bronda, cherries Pecetto.
Piazza Umberto I confirms, then, the Piazza dei Sapori and this edition includes a great new feature: Showcooking and Tastings on Saturday and Sunday in a special area dedicated to the square, with cooking demonstrations , presentations of recipes and tastings of excellent products with the intervention of foodblogger Nicole Hood, coach of culinary talent “The Chef” Mediaset. Will be proposed recipes based on fruits and flowers; the square will become a veritable open air kitchen by opening Zed Experience, already a partner of the Fairy-tale winter Olympic Games in Sochi .
The organization, whose direction is entrusted to the Pro Loco of Lagnasco, participating, in addition to the municipal administration which has strongly backed and supported the event, the three most important associations of fruit growers from Piedmont, which the Asprofrut, the Lagnasco Group Ortofruit and Italy, as well as the association that gathers: Assortofrutta. Remember also: Coldiretti Cuneo, Confartigianato Cuneo, Confcooperative Cuneo, Cuneo and Confagricoltura CReSO. All institutions will collaborate with external and financial aid, as well as the Piedmont Region and the Province of Cuneo, including the Chamber of Commerce of Cuneo, the Cassa di Risparmio di Saluzzo and of the Foundation.
For the edition of 2015, the Pro Loco Lagnasco the collaboration and support of Flyeventi Cherasco, which has provided the knowledge and professionalism of its operators to treat the most of ‘organization of the event. Will be present at the Group also Fruttinfiore tasters Italians who in addition to performing their own national assembly, through the various groups of tasters, will give the public tastings of their products.
