Peugeot 308 R Hybrid: the hybrid goes racing – AlVolante

A HYBRID RACING Peugeot 308 R is the sports version of the successful model 308. It is not yet in production, but under the hood mounts the 4-cylinder 1.6 THP 270 hp, the same adopted on the RCZ coupe R. The Peugeot is desired from here to combine in key hybrid model 308, at least for a living. For the concept car Peugeot 308 Hybrid R has been made a revolution. INTERNAL TECHNOLOGICAL – The concept car 308 R Hybrid presents innovations not only in the technical aspect. Also new are the interior and equipment of the dashboard. The fabrics are “technological” and are paired with leather parts. As for the instrumentation, the automatic transmission has steering wheel controls and the main functional information of the car are made readable to the driver through the windshield playback. Obviously the seats are sporty and materials used are in line with the state of art in racy cars.

AND PRODUCTION? – For the moment there is no news about the fate production of Peugeot 308 Hybrid R . If we know more at the show in Shanghai, which opens April 20. Meanwhile, the Peugeot takes its stand on another version of the 308: the Peugeot 308 S, particularly aimed at the Chinese market.
