Istralandia, reopen the water park: expand the offer – The Small

 Will reopen May 30 Istralandia, the water park opened last year near the motorway (the Istrian Y), between Novigrad and Brtonigla. Will herald various news: in addition to dining options and enhanced technological improvements that will reduce delays at checkpoints there will be three new slides created with funding obtained from the HBOR, the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Zagreb: “Space Rocket” of length 87 meters, the “Sea Hole” 81 and the “Bunga Hole” of 127 meters in length. Among other things, expanded parking and scheduled a new entertainment space.

 

 In the new season on even the amphitheater with 500 seats, and an amphitheater Child. Istralandia, which last year totaled 130 thousand visitors, it also has the largest swimming pool with artificial waves of the Mediterranean, as well as relaxation areas and children’s areas.

 

 The park, an area of ​​81 thousand square meters, is the result of an investment of 10 million euro, of which 50% was granted by the Croatian Bank under a program for support and development of projects and tourism initiatives; has a maximum capacity of 6 thousand people a day. Creator of the project, signed by the architectural firm Dvor Umag, is Branko Kovacic, entrepreneur and manager of the company “Istrakop”.
