Subaru – Two prototypes for the Tokyo Motor Show – Quattroruote

Subaru is preparing to Tokyo Motor Show (October 29, November 8) announcing the presence of some new product and two concept designed to open new technological and stylistic : Viziv Future ‘s Impreza 5-door .

A new sport utility. While the Impreza 5- door is considered an exercise in style and were not given details, the Subaru VIZIV Future Concept anticipates a possible SUV brand, incorporating design themes from current and evolving. The exterior is characterized by muscular wheel arches and the classic front Subaru with innovative LED headlights while the interior offers four individual seats and a brand new central console detached than the tunnel. The Viziv Future adopts an evolved version of EyeSight system, which uses the data to the external infrastructure and to other vehicles, radar sensors and GPS data to introduce driver assistance systems and next-generation capabilities of autonomous driving for which expected future further study. The infotainment system on board was therefore evolved to offer new content and functionality to be used only in the phases in which the ‘electronic board to take care of the driving. The Viziv Future Concept is equipped with a hybrid powertrain consisting of a variant of the new evolved boxer 1.6 turbo introduced by Subaru Levorg and by an electric motor which provides torque to the rear so as to offer all-wheel drive without a physical connection between the axles.

Preparation SporVita. Visitors to the Tokyo Motor Show will also present the new special series “SporVita” dedicated to the models S4 WRX and Legacy B4: the delivery includes new leather upholstery of interiors by Italian company Mario Levi, alloy wheels 18 “and the Advanced Safety Package with EyeSight. Completing the line-up of the Show the restyling of the Subaru Forester and the fifteenth and presentation of sports limited edition WRX STI S207. L.Cor.
