Elections: but those who have seen the news Rai? – the newspaper

Question: why a task force of the power of Verdelli-Merlo-Corrias (who oversees all the information Rai) has amazed us not in this administrative session? One imagined to see a new program, or simply a more modern use of technology or perhaps an American confrontation between the candidates as that aired on Sky. Instead we have seen the usual transmissions only: Door to door, Agora, Unomattina, apart from the news. For goodness sake, they have done their job. But maybe, by a journalist so shrewd, so attentive to the best international IT projects, such as neo-Editorial Director Verdelli, expected a flicker, an experiment to work alongside the traditional broadcasting. Instead of special we have only seen a Gazebo in prime time on Raitre. As usual, the prize of the most innovative went to Sky who fielded tightened interviews, virtual items, video walls, and every technological devilry. But, despite his poor means and the direction that just can not keep up, to really understand something of an election (and much more) you have to tune in to Enrico Mentana: its glossy explanations and irony should you want to come stay connected to his endless marathons (not for nothing La7 has shone in the ratings in all appointments). It was rather peculiar sadness the Raiuno morning, privileged moment with final data coming from the polls: a slew of guests lined up as if they were classmates with a poor scenography. What to say: RAI will be more exciting for the referendum?
