EasyJet announces additions to its mobile app, with the addition of functionality Flightradar24 for real-time monitoring of aircraft.
The company is the first in the world to cooperate with Flightradar24 to integrate this functionality in your app for iPhone, allowing passengers to monitor at any time up to three hours before take-off of the movements’ aircraft on which they will embark. Friends and relatives of the passengers will also be able to control the aircraft on which they travel their loved ones before it lands.
This feature is part of a specific software developed by EasyJet from Flightradar24, and employs a GPS signal from more than 240 aircraft of the Company. The monitoring software flights, easyJet launched the app, it will show, in addition to the type of aircraft being monitored, course, speed, altitude, distance traveled and total distance from the plane destinazione.James Millett, Head of Digital EasyJet, said: “We are proud to have added the tracking of flights geographic location in real time to our already award winning app. Our app is used every week for more than 800 thousand passengers to make it even easier on their journey on the easyJet network, which has over 780 routes. ”
