Announced a few days ago a great discovery made by Eni in the Mediterranean . From the information available geological and geophysical, and the data acquired in the discovery well, the the supergiant field has a resource potential of up to 850 billion cubic meters of gas in place (5.5 billion barrels of oil equivalent) and an extension of about 100 square kilometers. As mentioned earlier, it is the largest gas discovery ever made in Egypt and in the Mediterranean Sea and the square is also becoming one of the biggest gas finds in the world.
