In detail, Enel Green Power considers it appropriate to refute these false claims and instrumental:
1. “Enel Green Power would not want to apply the total re-injection, since with this process you would have a loss of efficiency, resulting in lower production and income”: this is not true because the lower production of the trial of the total re-injection would be more than compensated by the best electricity sales tariffs provided by the ministerial decrees to these plants. Thanks to incentives, in fact, pilot projects, if it were technically possible to achieve them, would be much cheaper than projects carried out by Enel Green Power.
2. “Enel Green Power uses old technologies, with respect to new technologies, characteristics of pilot plants”: this statement is false. The binary cycle machines, used in pilot plants, are known and applied for over a century, and this technology has novel features compared to those used by Enel Green Power in Tuscany. Moreover, the total reinjection located its not in plant surface limits (that is, the type of plant), but in the conformation of the mining reservoir (as it is located in the basement). As evidence of the lack of “technological bias” and of the knowledge of these plants, Enel Green Power has been using for many years the binary process and which it is available with a low gas content fluids (USA, Chile, Germany).
