Companies – Our interview with Fabrizio Fifths (Ford) – Quattroruote

In 2015, the Ford was the third brand in the Italian market, with 109,243 vehicles sold and a 6.9% share, up 0.2 points from the previous year. In the hit parade of best-selling models, the Fiesta was placed in eighth place overall and tenth among those diesel, while the B-Max MPV ranks second among the small and the C-Max at the top of the compact ones defined . The aspects related to business customers we talked to Fabrizio Fifth Fleet managers Ford Italy.

What news particularly interesting for business travelers planning to launch in 2016?
on the front of the product, 2016 opens with the arrival of a model which, we believe, will be much appreciated in the business world: the new Ford Edge. With this SUV superior, the largest in our range, we complete the European offer in a fast growing segment. 2016 is also the year of the new S-MAX Vignale which, like the Mondeo Vignale, will stand out for its elegance, quality of materials, technological equipment and buying experience and superior possession. We believe that the Edge and Vignale range will be especially popular among the user-chooser, customers looking for exclusive designs and custom services.

In your range are no specific arrangements for business? And will you launch new projects in 2016?
Our range is now entirely in the business also declined, with separate lists versions and built an endowment, in terms of product content, the needs of customers that makes car professional use. The cars of the Ford business range are equipped as standard with all the devices that will not only help those who use the car for work, such as the Sync connectivity system or high-efficiency motors, but also help to increase the residual value of the car .

business is fully scalable, so that the flexibility of the Ford solutions allows to propose a specific size for each kind of professional category. This is especially true for financial solutions, the variety of which is based on common denominatoridei affordable rents and high residual values.

Do you think the story that has brought to the fore the thrusters diesel engine will affect the choices made by corporate clients?
you can expect to read and physiological fluctuations in the mix of diesel engines, but we believe that the choice of business customers will continue to be strongly oriented towards this engine.

How do they treat your customers towards the most environmentally friendly mobility proposals? And what types of cars or green mobility solutions collect more interest bi-fuel, electric, car sharing, car pooling or something? On the corporate front
, sustainable mobility has a double soul: the definition relating to ‘environmental footprint of the company and that of the costs. In our case, an efficient fleet results in an important saving and is then held in high regard by customers. The business sector, therefore, rather than move towards alternative mobility solutions, seeking maximum efficiency. To meet this demand we offer to our customers different propulsion technologies, both traditional and alternative, all characterized by high levels of efficiency. Our philosophy is Power of choice: give the customer the freedom to choose the engine that best suits your needs.

What do you think are necessary policy initiatives to support the rental sector Italy?
must think seriously on the car as a functional tool operations of a company, and as such, as an important element for the overall economic growth. Based on this assumption, you must update the company car taxation and in line with that of other European countries.
