Yamaha YZ250F
Launched in the season 2014, the YZ250F and YZ450F models are renewed for season 2017. Many changes, which mainly affect the two thirty motocross.
YZ250F – – The specifications of the new engine, including a substantial increase in the efficiency of the intake and exhaust, and a smoother transmission a remapping of the unit, leading to a large improvement in performance of the bike. For the new model, Yamaha’s engineers have developed an inverted head that gives pilots to YZ250F deliver even more determined to medium-high rpm. To increase the flow of air in the head with 4 valves, the suction pipe has been redesigned and the intake valve diameters increased. The intake and exhaust camshafts have a new diagram and most raised. Other significant increases in power in the medium and high regimes were obtained by shortening the air choke, to decrease pumping losses. The intake manifold increases of approximately 5% cross section, while the new design of the conduit optimizes the filling of the combustion chamber. The two solutions that they see a box placed in the upper air and the fuel tank under the seat were made possible by the inverted head and helps to centralize mass. The changes to the chassis further comprise the optimization of the rigidity, the lower center of gravity and the mass of the suspension. Compared to 2016, the new chassis design is approximately 12 mm wider in the rear swingarm pivot.
YZ450F – Among the novelties of 2017, they immediately notice the new graphics. From the technological point of view, the rear brake disc 245 mm was produced by the same heat-resistant steel of the front disc, for a feeling and superior performance.
Two days – The YZ250 and YZ125 2-stroke in 2017, adopting an increased front disc 270 mm and new graphics on the hulls, forks and fenders. Along with the “more” sisters, YZ85 is confirmed as one of the most beloved motocross models. Many of today’s champions kicked off their careers thanks to the help of the legendary three tuning forks. For the new year, YZ85 exhibit new graphic.
