a contemporary reinterpretation of the Divine Comedy for students and families, a path interactive Dante’s knowledge of the universe and the frame of the most beautiful place where you can admire Florence, Villa Bardini: these are the characteristics of the cultural project the Divine Comedy by Venturino Venturi , an exhibition supported and promoted by the General Italy through “ Culture value ” – the program in which the company promotes the dissemination of cultural activities to make them accessible to a wider audience and to create value for the region – and in collaboration with the ‘ Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze and Monumental Parks Foundation Bardini Peyron and .

the initiative will help to re-read and admired the verses of Dante interpreted in a contemporary Tuscan artist Venturino Venturi (Loro Ciuffenna, April 6, 1918 – Terranuova Bracciolini, January 28, 2002) which was an extraordinary interpreter of the culture of the late twentieth century.
on display are exposed for the first time 54 works on paper drawn by the artist in the early 80s and designed together with the refined poet Hermetic Mario Luzi (Castle of Florence, 20 October 1914 – Florence, February 28, 2005), in which are represented some triplets of the Divine Comedy intended to compose an edition created in 1984 by Editions Pananti Florence.
an absolute novelty, the visit of the exhibition – enriched by innovative technological solutions – it is also an “immersive”: multimedia installations reproduce the imaginary Hell, of Purgatory and Paradise, starting from Botticelli’s illustrations of Dante’s classic coming to the works of Venturi.

In line with the aims of “Cultural value”, the exhibition will be accompanied by a rich and varied program of activities for students: guided tours and workshops are added workshops and seminars of graphics and photography.
