Strengthening saves redundancies. ITP Sardinia: apply it to … – Horizon School

The problem of redundancies, in the province of Cagliari, has an over ten-year history. In particular, Table C, which collects the practical laboratory of technical teachers of secondary school, pays the price of the latest reforms, the Gelmini onwards, which saw reduced, contrary to one-vaunted upgrading of the teaching laboratory, the hours laboratory lesson in the various addresses of the technical institutes, professional and even the technological high school science institutions, with the institutionalization of the same in the high schools of applied sciences.

The teachers belonging to these classes of competition, all holders of permanent contract, winners of the competition and then the role, to use an obsolete term, has gradually been decreasing their hours of lessons and so lose the ownership in the schools in which they have worked for years with dedication and commitment, forcing them to pass in limbo for years called “provincial staffing”, forcing them year after year, to make request for benefit to be assigned to a service school , and be used in materials and related, in part or totally, available to executives to cover replacements for absent colleagues.

this issue and this unease that involved in Sardinia dozens of teachers for years, it was addressed to the Office of the Regional School of Cagliari province this year, with a decree relating to mobility operations, read transfers, using unexpectedly unconventional resource: the establishment of chairs of strengthening, in contravention of the original destination for which these chairs were designed. The Decree, signed by regional school office manager for the province of Cagliari on 26 July, allowed the transfer of teaching enhancement of teachers made redundant, in an unequal manner, focusing this on some classes of competition, ignoring almost totally other. Why has become a choice so unequal, and discriminatory for some classes of competition and belonging to them teachers, than others?

The answer lies in the fact that the reasons which brought about this operation aggression towards the problem of redundancies, does not stem from the desire to put an end to this longstanding problem, but the need to operate the new entries in the role of teachers in classes of competition that were to be made redundant. Hence this unequal application of this solution, a novelty that certainly allows you to open a window to the problem of redundancies, but that has been used clumsily, generating iniquities.

But if that was the choice to resolve the issue redundancies, why in this operation were assigned also chairs of upgrading to classes of competition is not redundant in table a? Because they were made by the steps of teaching support for strengthening?

If the use of enhancement professorships may be the solution that eliminates the problem of redundancies, why not use it in a fair and rational at all the classes of competition in which this situation remains burdensome?

and finally, because this absorption policy of redundancies has not brought similar behavior by other local school boards of Sardinia, like Sassari, Nuoro and Oristano?

the practical technical teachers in Sardinia, moved by these questions, and the manifest injustice inherent in mobility operations made or not made at all by the relevant institutions, are organizing to protect their rights and those of category.
