One iris scanners would be a more effective system of a fingerprint scanner to maintain the privacy of a smartphone, and Smasung is working on this for his next Galaxy S5.

What would be better to unlock the phone with the fingerprint scan? We respond immediately: unlock your phone by scanning the eye. And that’s what Samsung has planned for its next Galaxy S5, due out next year on the market, according to a new report from Korean media.

site ZDNet Korea cites industry sources who say that the next top range of the fifth generation of South Korean company will integrate the iris scanner – a first for any phone – and a display to high resolution. These are just rumors for now, but it is not impossible to do, and Samsung have all it takes to surprise us with this new technology.

iris scanners is likely to work as the fingerprint scanner for the iPhone 5S, only that you should not rub the eye on the phone, do not worry! But probably bring the phone up to your face so (depending on the distance at which the scanner is able to detect the iris). Basically, it will serve to use their biometric data to unlock the phone.

A reliable eye scanner would be a system more difficult to circumvent than a fingerprint scanner, but should use a high-resolution camera, able to distinguish the details of the eye.

‘ll see if Samsung will surprise us. According to sources, the phone unnamed – will most likely be called Galaxy S5 – will make its debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in late February.
