Huracan Lamborghini LP 610-4: performance and technical characteristics of the heir of the Gallardo itemprop = “ArticleBody”>
The manufacturer of Sant’Agata Bolognese always dream many fans with its supercar and has recently spread officially the first pictures of the heir of the Gallardo, the so-called “baby Lambo”: here is the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 ! Initially it seemed that the ivies of lambo most beloved were called Cabrera but the denial came a few days ago by the Bull that has opted for the name Huracan that expresses even more viciously. Then just look at the pictures to see how much grit have this supercar: taut lines and sharp in fact dominate the body that looks lower and wider than it actually is, and is definitely more “extreme” than the model it replace. The hardcore fans will already have noticed references to the sister Aventador but also the Sesto Elemento concept.

The technique

The Lamborghini Huracan is driven by the same engine of the Gallardo going to replace that, however, has received significant changes. The engineers at Sant’Agata Bolognese managed to reduce the weight to 1,422 kilograms thus allowing their new supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 in just 3.2 seconds and cover the 0-200 per hour in just 9.9 seconds ! Not yet declared maximum speed but it is assumed it will be around 320 kilometers per hour. Traction is the “usual” integral derived from the four by Audi, a super-fast dual-clutch transmission with steering wheel paddles. The declared consumption settles around 12.5 liters per 100 km, low considering the performance and the type of car.
The fan part of the standard equipment of carbon-ceramic discs, tireless in heavy braking. By means of a few buttons on the center console can choose from three different driving modes: Strada, Sport and Corsa.
The new Lamborghini Huracan will be officially presented at the Geneva International Motor Show in 2013.
