Arrives in Italy G Flex, smartphone curved LG - La Stampa

Designed to follow the contours of the face, has a coating that protects from scratches and scuffs only

curved smartphone LG G Flex is exposed to preview today in all major Vodafone stores, where you can try it out. An opportunity for Italian consumers and for Vodafone customers to discover the design and functionality of the new born in LG, which was released a couple of months ago in Korea.

Designed to follow the natural contour of the face (remember the old Nokia 8110?), the last device in the G-Series ensures a better quality of voice and sound and microphone because they are close to your ear and mouth respectively. But the curved display reveals all its potential in landscape mode, when viewing HD video or playing games, thanks to a much wider viewing angle than any traditional phone.

The innovative design also ensures the most comfortable grip, while the back buttons allow maximum control even in the call, as is the case with the current flagship of the Korean company, the LG G2. The display ultra-thin and ultra-light 6-inch display is the largest in the world, offering plastic OLED-according to the manufacturer – exceptional brightness and accuracy.

The battery life exceeds one full day of use, and this is already a good news, but for those who are obsessed with scuffs and scratches find another interesting news: LG G Flex is the first smartphone equipped with a flexible coating and “Self Healing”, able to minimize the damages everyday wear.

LG G Flex will be available within the first quarter of 2014 at a suggested retail price of 899 €, in Italy, the smartphone will be sold for the first month exclusively in Vodafone stores and on the website Vodafone.it.
