New regional standards for swimming pools: safety for swimmers and … – gonews

More safety for swimmers and more simplifications concerning obligations on structural requirements for tourist facilities: these are the main changes introduced by resolution of the Regional Council of Tuscany no. 581/2015 concerning the amendments to the Rules of implementation in the field of health standards of swimming pools to use.

Of particular interest within the regional provisions published in recent weeks, is the extension of the simplifications all accommodation regardless of the number of places available and the introduction of a system of waivers of certain structural requirements.

In short, between the various elements of simplification are provided for the following new features:

& gt; Possibility to build docks in turf around the tub;

& gt; Self-control of the parameters of bathing;

& gt; Elimination obligation second pump for any failure of the first;

& gt; Possibility of using hedges or alarm systems instead of the double fence;

& gt; Structural derogations for existing pools on the date of entry into force of the regulation to require by September 30, 2015.

With this resolution are also reopened the terms for managers and employees to pool technological systems that, to date of entry into force of the regulation, already carry out these activities with the possibility of access to a training reduced, after submission to the relevant municipality – always within September 30, 2015 – a declaration in lieu of an affidavit to the effect that the conduct in place of its activity and specify the time to start.

According Federalberghi-Confcommercio is important simplifications repeatedly advocated by the Association that combines plant safety with current investment capacity of the tourism and hospitality industry Tuscany, for a gradual structural adjustment and more bearable from the economic point of view.
