Viv arrives, the app will send in Siri board – Il Giornale

In this world it made up of apps and startup , was born a way to order pizza out of the ordinary. The novelty is called Viv , is an application of the latest generation and has all the features to take the place of the main virtual assistants like Siri , Google Now and Cortana. The brainchild of Dag Kittlaus and Adam Cheyer, two of the co-creators internal to the Apple team, Viv can achieve much greater autonomy over all App known to date. “Get me a pizza to Pizz’a Chicago , here near the office” began one of the two designers, during the first real test carried out on the application. Silence, no answer.

“Do you want some seasoning?” He was heard shortly after. Encouraged by the response coming from the smartphone , the members of the technical team began to engulf Viv orders: more cheese, more peppers, more filling. After 40 minutes of waiting, the office has presented a bellhop with just ordered pizza. Magic? None. Achievement: being able to order simple dishes without making any call and any Google search, through the use of a single App. Even without typing a word.

“The concept is to ‘steal’ the way interaction that humans have for thousands of years, “says Kittlaus , CEO Viv,” and use it to communicate with technology devices . we all know how to lead a normal conversation”. Viv is also an app open source, capable of automatically learning more data it receives, the more it expands and becomes more intuitive and “smart”. A new AI , in short, now able to “invade” our smartphones and, in the future, all electronic devices that are part of our reality.
