FIAT Abarth range relaunched with the new 595 comes in three different settings: 595, 595 Turismo and 595 Competizione. This model is, in fact, the natural heir of the car launched in 2008 and which has had a great success all over the world.
The version 595, due to its accessibility, is the level of ‘ input for those who want to enter the world of Abarth and offers all the standard amenities needed to ensure the fun and the driving pleasure typical of the Scorpion cars, while 595 595 Competition and tourism are two other aspects and two other distinctive levels of character and tradition of Abarth: the first is more “radical”, ideal for a range of performance and sportiness without compromise; the second is linked to the typical values of the Italian GT presenting more compact and above all more suitable urban use.
From a mechanical point of view, among the biggest news we note the increase in engine power 1.4 T-jet that equips versions 595 and 595 tourism in particular, the first specification can now count on 145 hp and 206 Nm of torque, while the second reaches 165 hp and 230 Nm. in addition, 595 Tourism is now equipped with the turbine Garrett GT1446. The 595 Competition, however, with its 180 hp, it is the ideal car for those looking for the adrenaline of the racing world, both in terms of performance both for the technical content: thanks to the nuts restraints seats “Abarth Corsa by Sabelt” will be a pleasure to accelerate from 0-100 in 6.7 “and then brake safely, thanks to the system plus with fixed Brembo aluminum calipers with 4 pistons. Versions 595 Turismo and Competizione offer 595 standard – the rear – the shock absorbers Koni FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) that optimize the driving experience with maximum safety, providing greater road holding, handling and stability. From today, the 595 Competizione are also standard at the front with a significant increase in dynamic performance. Always on top of the range is the Brembo braking system with monobloc fixed calipers with 4 pistons aluminum – red series, optional gray version in black or yellow – combined with ventilated and perforated discs 305mm. About 595 Tourism, however, the OE calipers are black to red or yellow alternative.
Finally, the New Abarth 595 confirms the adoption of the Sport button, which allows you to take action on many parameters of the car: disbursement of torque calibration of the power steering, for a more direct feel and a less invasive operation electronics. In addition, the system acts on the calibration of the accelerator pedal, to ensure a more rapid response and on the TFT instrument panel that takes on a robe racing in typical Abarth style.
