Peugeot – Two new models and a plan for China – Quattroruote

There are two innovations unveiled by Peugeot at the Beijing Motor Show, both destined to the local market: it is the 3008 and the 308 Sedan. Pieces of a five-year strategic plan, announced on the same occasion together with the confirmation of the commitment in the most important motorsport event that will affect the Asian country in the coming months, the rally-raid Silk Road. 3008. After more than 200,000 copies sold in China in three years, the Donfeng Peugeot 3008 is renewed with a different look, especially in the front where , the center of the grille, dominates the Lion symbol. the 308 Sedan. Athletic, muscular, with a vertical grille: this sets the three volumes Dongfeng Peugeot, based on EMP2 platform. A preview of the car destined to form the core of the brand’s range of saloons of the C segment, the most popular on the Chinese market. The final version is expected to debut in the second half of this year.

The plan. A few weeks after the presentation of the strategic plan called Push to pass, Peugeot launched his five-year strategy for the conquest of the Chinese market, dubbed Blue Upper. The ambition is to make the Donfeng Peugeot, within half luster, generalist brand of high reference range in China and become a part of the top ten best-selling brands on the first market in the world.
