That Google has launched for the first enterprise to make the car that drives itself – is a response to initiatives presented last June by Apple, according to which the control panels of the car are integrated iPhone and other devices with iOS, the operating system of the group of Cupertino, California. To date, Apple has the support of BMW, Daimler, General Motors and Honda. The ETUC is confirmed as an important showcase for automotive electronics.

Apart from the common project with Google Audi will present technologies that allow cars to drive themselves in certain situations and for a short period of time. Ford is expected to present an autonomous vehicle and BMW has invited the press to a demonstration that calls the same concept. All the while the car manufacturers design new models with chips such as to ensure a constant Internet connection, even without a smartphone.
