Space, failed Cygnus docking with the ISS - Italian Weather Center

If Into the launch of the spaceship Cygnus had been successful from the American base at Wallops Island last Wednesday, the same can not be said of engagement with the ISS, the International Space Station where it currently is, among others, the Sicilian Luca Parmitano. Recall that Cygnus is leading the necessary supplies on board the International Space Station. But what happened exactly? In practice, it was pointed the right way, which might happen on Earth to a car, when the navigation system recalculates the route, in the absence of signal. Recall that NASA is using private spacecraft, since the shuttle is retired. This is a demonstration mission, if you will be successful there will be eight trips to the Cygnus spacecraft, which also include Italian technology on board.

Into Tuesday, September 24 will retry the coupling Iss-Cygnus. The engineers of the private company Orbital fact are developing software that can solve the problem in the shortest time possible. The process of attachment to the ISS will be coordinated by our own Luke Parmitano.
