I’ve lost count of how many times I have been asked in recent weeks, if it was worth changing the S4 to S5. The question, though not totally relevant to judge the new smartphone from Samsung, says, however, the mirror of the times and how much attention there is to the real technological product development. To change the mobile consumer wants to tangible improvements. And at first glance S5 delivers a positive response: a new processor (a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, a quad core 2.5 Ghz), a display in which the new provision and the different geometry of the pixels ensure readability by far top, a 16-megapixel camera capable of shooting video in 4K, a body resistant to water and dust, and two sensors: the first, located just below the Home button, hides a biometric fingerprint reader and thus allows you to lock and unlock the device via the fingertip on the surface of the button; the second, located at the rear of the body at the foot of the flash, instead allows you to measure your heart rate.
Winds of Change Hardware aside, Samsung has also intervened on software: on the one hand and clutching changes from ‘ removing other features and applications that sull’S4 have not met the favor of consumers.
