alert from Liguria to Lazio - The Republic

ROME – A new perturbation of Atlantic origin in the coming hours will still widespread rainfall over northern and central Tyrrhenian our country.
Based on the forecasts available to the Department Civil Protection in cooperation with the regions involved – to which it is the activation of civil protection systems in the territories concerned – has issued, then a notice of adverse weather conditions. The weather phenomena, impacting on different areas of the country, could determine the criticality ‘hydrological and hydraulic that are listed in a national synthesis, in the bulletin of criticality’ available on the website of the Department (www.protezionecivile.gov.it).

The notice involves the weather tomorrow morning rainfall spread, also of downpour or storm, of Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio and Sardinia, in extension to the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, with quantities up to very high levels of eastern Liguria, Tuscany and Emilia Romagna west.

There are also widespread snowfall, above 500-700 meters, Valle d’Aosta, Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, up to 200-400 meters inland on the southern Piedmont and Liguria, in extension to the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia above of 700-900 meters, with contributions to the soil moderate to abundant.

In Sardinia, the Civil Defence has issued an alert to moderate critical weather tomorrow and for the next 24-36 hours for Campidano , Logudoro and Iglesias, in addition to the basins of Tirso and Montevecchio Piscilappiu.

In Emilia Romagna to worry about is still full of the Secchia River, in the low Modena. The Civil Protection has launched the pre-alarm phase after the widespread and heavy rainfall that affected the basin of the river, partly because of the critical issues that remain after the recent flood. The alert was triggered by the municipalities of Campogalliano and Solihull, Casalgrande, Castellarano and Rubiera. That remains in force relating to the municipalities of Modena, Bastille and Bomporto.

On Monday it expected a reinforcement of ventilation, with gale force winds of south-east – and reinforcement of strong storm – Tuscany, Lazio, Sardinia, Sicily, Emilia-Romagna in extension, with storms all along the exposed coasts.

On the basis of the expected phenomena was evaluated for tomorrow red for critical hydraulic and hydro-geological risk on the valley areas basins and plains of Veneto and most of Tuscany.
