The new two-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel TD4 family Ingenium, made entirely of aluminum, is available in two power levels, 150 and 180 hp.

They weigh 20-30 kg less than the previous engines, have the extended service intervals to 33,000 km and fuel consumption ranging from 4.2 to 4.8 L / 100 km, thanks to the substantial reduction of internal friction. Versions more efficient, then, acquire the name eD4 while the Evoque badge on the tailgate turns blue. The other new succulents are more concentrated in the technology department. The infotainment system managed with 8-inch touch screen InControl with Mirror Link function is standard on the SE and Pure, but leveling up is the InControl Touch Plus that includes the browser on the hard disk, the two display rear 8 inches, wireless headphones and audio equipment Meridian. In both cases, moreover, is present 3G connectivity, realized thanks to the antenna integrated in the roof fin. Inedita is also the possibility of having the door electronic control, activated by the movement of the foot under the bumper; Also the function All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) is a novelty; allows you to use the cruise control to establish a fixed rate of between 1.8 and 30 km / h during the particularly challenging off-road trails. The list of driver assistance systems is completed by the Lane-Keeping Assist that automatically steer to maintain lane and dall’Autonomous Emergency Braking, ie automatic braking up to 50 km / h.
