In the spotlight in Paris on restyling the Hyundai i10 – ANSA.it

ROME – Time restyling for the Hyundai i10 which in three years has sold in Europe over 2220,000 units. The model 2017, which will be exhibited on the stand of the Korean house to the next edition of the Paris Motor Show (October 1-16), it shows a definite facelift that makes it fresh the image of the car and was accompanied by technological innovations for what It regards the active connectivity and security functions. Of note is the adoption of a generous color screen in the instrument panel to control the infotainment board.

At the front we appreciate the unprecedented ” Cascading grille ”: the new mask will be one of elements of common design with the next generation of cars of the brand. Always at the front, they notice the redesigned bumper and the addition of LED daytime running lights round shape at the upper ends of the grid. At the rear they appreciate the enhancements that have affected bumpers and headlights, include the new black inserts and round rear fog lamps that recall the style of the front. Round off the redesigned alloy wheels 14 ” steel or alloy, depending on grade.

As for the engines, the new i10 confirms the previous range based on the engine to 1.0 bi-fuel petrol and LPG (factory-installed system) and 1.2 petrol that under current powers, respectively, deliver 66, 67 and 87 hp. In the note that accompanied the diffusion of the first images of the i10 model year 2017, Thomas Schmid, Chief Operating Officer of the European division of Hyundai Motor Europe, said: ” The New i10 is a key model for us in Europe: a car which tells the high build quality of our brand and our attention to detail, as evidenced by the many advanced features normally found only in higher segment cars ”.
