A look, rather than credible, the Citroen future and in particular on what could be a future flagship of the Double Chevron. This is the mission of Cxperience Concept – which is revealed a month before the opening of the Paris Motor Show – Citroen with confirmation, similar to what it did with C4 Cactus and more recently with New C3 – the ability to realize its promise ‘Be Different, Feel Good’. The silhouette of this large sedan twists – as had happened in the past with the iconic DS21 – the traditional codes of the segment, with such conceptual innovation seen that the car is inspired by the high-tech world to the outside and to the sector of ‘ decor for the interior. Cxperience has impressive proportions (4.85 m long and 2 m wide), a very low roof (1.37 m high) and short overhangs (to allow a wheelbase of 3 meters and then dock interior space) but remains ‘light’ thanks to the fluid forms. On the front, the concept car renews the purity of the lines through the unusual light signature that reinterprets the double chevron – Citroen symbol – on two levels, with a double wide chrome bar up to the headlights. The projectors V Led capture attention and give a technological look with thin sheets of 3 mm in width, in which gap integrate seamlessly turn signals. The luminous signature is completed at the bottom by the headlights to directional LEDs, 3 for each side of the vehicle. The front bumpers integrate air driven revenue, for greater efficiency. On each side, the movable flap is opened and closed so as to contribute to aerodynamics while driving and convenience during maneuvers. At the tail of the character Cxperience is emphasized by the importance of the fenders and the concave rear window, provided with movable spoilers in the lower part. The rear lights in 3D and laser fiber recall the V-shape front. Another characteristic of the style element are antagonistic doors, whose enveloping shape – which develops towards the
