Idea, training and training , creation, innovation, and social growth … this year also women entrepreneurs are the watchwords of the Start Cup Calabria (SCC). We are talking about the seventh edition of the business plan competition promoted by the University of Calabria and organized with CalabriaInnova, in collaboration with the Universities of Catanzaro and Reggio Calabria. It is targeted at aspiring startupper among students, graduates, doctoral students, researchers, teachers and new entrepreneurs in possession of an idea of innovative enterprise. The presentation of SCC is set to ‘ May 8 , at 30.10 , the Seminar Room of the Liaison Office dell’Unical . There are the stages of the competition (the scouting , the training, the final event of award), the opportunities offered by the event and the news of this seventh edition. Among them the creation of new awards and special mentions for projects focusing on the themes of Expo “Feeding the planet. Energy for Life “. In addition, by partnering with the Department of Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the focus will be on the promotion of female entrepreneurship through the dissemination of business culture among women residents in Calabria for the creation of startups with predominantly female participation exhibit also features of social innovation. The winners of the Start Cup in the finals of the National Award for Innovation (PNI), a competition that brings together all the business plan competition Italian academic year and that is take place, for the first time, Unical in the month of December.
