The energy performance certificate, which is necessary for those who must submit documentation Enea to ask the tax deductions of 65%, is about to change. For the minimum requirements, the most important innovation is the method of verification of the legal requirements, using the reference building. Each building will be compared to determine the requirements, with a property with multiple systems identical in terms of geometry (shape, volume, floor space, surfaces of building elements and components), orientation, location, purpose of use and to the situation and outline having thermal characteristics and parameters pre-determined energy. The regions will have two years to adapt, but already are gearing: the class system – after years of regional differences – will return only.

In the future plates, the energy performance will be expressed in terms of primary energy not renewable and energy class will be determined not according to the parameter of the Epi limit, but on the ratio between the energy performance of the building and the reference building planned for the years 2019-2021. The classes will be ten: the best (A4) to the worst (G).

The Bee will examine the energy performance of the building for summer air conditioning, as well as winter. For commercial properties will be taken into account energy requirements for lighting and one for the operation of escalators and elevators (once it passed the sixth part of the Uni 11300). The certificate, in addition to the overall energy performance, will report specific information on energy performance partial, including the building envelope. For readability users will be used emoticons.

Finally, it will be indicated in the certificate also the energy class highest attainable if you implement a series of corrective measures and improvements listed in the EPA and the same will be established a national database of certificates, for the collection of aggregate data for the Bee released, the thermal plants and the related audits and inspections made.
