Bmw betting on technology. The Bavarian fact announces interesting technological innovations and motorsport level for Series 1, Series 2 and Series 7. Let’s start by the latter which, in 750D version has benefited from the debut of a brand new power unit 6 to 3 liters cylinder diesel equipped with an innovative turbocharging system with four turbines. Will be available only in combination with the all-wheel drive and in the standard 750D xDrive variants and step elongated 750Ld xDrive with power of 400 hp and maximum torque of 760 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 hours in just 4.6 seconds with fuel consumption content to 5 , 7 liters / 100 km. Also on the 7 Series makes its debut the plug-in hybrid version that will enrich the offer of the new range iPer formance of the Bavarian house. For customers, choosing between the 740th variants, 740 and 740 Le Le xDrive with the powertrain system consisting of a drive 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo 2-liter and an electric motor for a total output of 326 hp. Performance is excellent (sprints from a standstill in 5.3 and 5.5 seconds), but the added value is of course represented by fuel consumption and CO2 emissions respectively between 2.1 and 2.5 liters / 100 km and between 49 and 56 g / km.
Depending on grade, the batteries allow autonomy in electric mode between 41 and 48 km. As for Series 1 and Series 2, the updates will please sports car enthusiasts. The revamped version of the engine TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder 3-liter, 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque, already mounted on the X4 M40i,
