After six years, no more 12 Days of Gifts iTunes – Macity (Blog)

After the Black Friday, the traditional inizitiva also jumps 12 Days of Gifts. Was activated for the first time six years ago to give free applications, movies, books.

The rumors in recent days have confirmed: this year, for the first time in six years, Apple will no longer offer its initiative 12 Days of Gifts iTunes. In previous years, Apple had released directly to its 12 Days of Gifts app on the App Store in the weeks before Christmas, usually giving homage to users December 26, the day of St. Stephen.

Following new gifts, including songs, videos, or app, were offered every day as a tribute to all users, they could download free content usually for a fee. The 12 Days of Gifts is not the first unpleasant novelty this year in terms of discounts and promotions; after seven years, although the deals of Black Friday have disappeared from the radar of Apple customers, leaving a dry mouth all those who were waiting for the traditional Black Friday discounts to buy Apple products.
