Sport, culture and street parties for the mini-sunday walk - The Republic

Stationary traffic in only four areas, free of all municipal museums. Buenos Aires, Charterhouse and Giambellino closed all day, limitations in the center area between the Roman and the Deejay Ten

by LUCA DE VITO A Sunday without locking up the traffic but with four dedicated to cyclists and pedestrian street parties between culture and sport. This solution is ‘patchy’ – which also adds to the closing for two hours in the morning of 10 km of roads for the road race Deejay Ten – that the junta Pisapia on an experimental basis to replace the planned Domenicaspasso, abandoned initiative, at least for this year, it was too expensive. In addition to car-free zones, the day today offers events organized on the occasion of the national day of the Walk.

It begins with traffic blocked in Corso Buenos Aires, from 10 to 20 for a festival entirely dedicated to the sport. The day will continue with many events dedicated to culture. The Make organizes a path between the places of art and science, starting at Palazzo Brera, through to House Leek-Lambertenghi and the gardens of Villa Lonati (via Zubiani 1 Niguarda area) will be open from 11 am to 12 noon and from 15 to 16. Free admission then for all municipal museums, including the Archaeological Museum of the twentieth century and the Natural History Museum where the 15 will be organized a role-playing game

for families with tests of skill and logic. Special opening for the Palazzo Marino, from 10.30 to 18 will be transformed into a play area for children.

Atm announced detours and slowdowns of 14 tram lines and bus in pedestrian areas and the nearby streets to the path of Deejay Ten: there will also be a problem for those lines that flow through the area Sarfatti, where there will be another road race, Bocconi Run 2013.
