“At first glance it seems that the young people of Generation Y (or millennial generation, aged ‘between 18 and 24 years old) reject the technology, but I suspect that the reality’ is much more ‘complex and interesting, “said Genevieve Bell, anthropologist and Director of Interaction and Experience Research at Intel Labs. “A different kind of reading suggests that young people of Generation Y want the technology to do more ‘for them, and we strive to make it much more’ personal and less cumbersome.”
